This spectacular home was built in 1912 for Louis Davenport. He lived in the home for a mere 4 months before selling it to Richard Porter who lived there until 1940. Originally located at 34 West 8th Avenue it was razed in 1968. It is now part of the Sacred Heart Hospital and parking lot.
Great photos...love early NW architecture...the Porter family has a fascinating history. I lived in R.B's brother's house during college Spokane located on 7th & Maple
