1920's views of a Portland Oregon street scape with children
The address listed on the back of these photos is 308 E 28th which would be the original address before the modern renumbering. I was able to identify the building in the background which is still standing at 1448 NE 278th Ave! Below is a modern day photo of the building. Some of the second floor windows have been altered and most of the first floor windows are boarded up.
this looks like it is on the corner, just west of the Fred Meyer's... cross street is Halsey or something? I used to walk this way to the grocery store...
