Late 40's ariel view of Downtown Portland and the Eastbank
Wonderful view of Portland in the late 40's. Most of the structures at the bottom left were torn down in the 1960's for a massive urban renewal project. Note the original Morrison Bridge. The view of the Eastbank is pre-freeway. You can see which buildings are still there today like the B&O Building and the Eastbank Commerce Center.
