Half of the buildings in this photo still stand on 3rd Avenue just South of Washington St. At right is the stunning Dekum Building (1890) and to left sandwiched in the middle of the block is the Hamilton Building (1893). The pretty cast iron facade at the opposite corner is now lost but was replaced with a very pretty white brick and terra cotta structure in 1929. The wonderful 2 story block behind is currently occupied by a concrete multi-level parking structure.
