I just love these images of people in front of their house. The architecture is simple but there is a lot of detail in there. From the porch details to the stone foundation this photo has it all.

Court House in San Rafael California

Wonderful view of the original court house. I was unable to determine if this structure remains today but I have a feeling it is no longer around. I was able to find some images of the building in later years where it had lost the tower.

Wonderful early view of an architects, engineers, or draftsman's office. The man on the stool is identified as Alonzo Finch. Not sure who he is.

There's a LOT going on in this photo. We have a person with what looks like a chicken wing in his mouth, matching twins, boxing gloves for art and wallpaper wallpaper wallpaper. I see no light fixtures or lamps.....
